Prior to this he was the Secretary-General and Member of Board of Governors of AMDA (Association of Medical Doctors of Asia) International, a leading Japan-based international NGO operating in different countries. In the private sector, he has held positions of Managing Director and Senior Executive Director of reputable Japanese companies.

Dr. Zaman is an innovative and pragmatic strategist working to achieve objectives. He values teamwork, client satisfaction and excellence. Dr. Zaman is co-author of many books and published various articles and research papers on development issues. He is fluent in English, Japanese, Urdu and has a basic knowledge of Arabic and Persian.
